Primary Level Maths
Primary Level Standard Maths
Yes, we do. Our Primary Maths program focuses on building strong foundational skills in problem-solving, conceptual understanding, and exam techniques.
We don’t just teach children how to get the answer — we teach them to understand the why behind the methods. Our program breaks concepts down clearly and gives students plenty of structured practice to gain confidence and accuracy.
Absolutely. We teach a clear step-by-step problem-solving process and provide regular feedback to help students learn from their mistakes. Over time, they develop both skill and confidence.
Yes. We assess each student before placing them in a class that best suits their current level and learning needs. This ensures they are neither overwhelmed nor under-challenged.
Primary Level High Ability Maths
High Ability Maths tuition is specially designed for students who show strong Mathematical thinking and can work beyond the standard curriculum. It encourages deeper understanding, creative problem-solving, and advanced reasoning—not just memorization or drill-based practice.
Your child may be a good fit if they:
- Consistently perform well in Maths at school
- Learn new Maths concepts quickly
- Enjoy challenging puzzles or Maths-related games
- Ask thoughtful or unusual questions about numbers and logic
* We recommend an initial assessment to help determine their suitability.
Unlike regular tuition that focuses on revision or catching up, High Ability Maths programme aims to stretch advanced learners. Lessons often include:
- Higher-order thinking tasks
- Non-routine and Olympiad-style problems
- Exploration of topics not typically covered in school at that level
Discussions that promote logical thinking and Mathsematical reasoning
Most students begin around Primary 3, once their core Maths skills are solid. Earlier exposure may be suitable for children who show strong interest and natural aptitude in Maths.
Yes. While no course can guarantee selection, the skills developed—such as abstract thinking, problem-solving, and pattern recognition—are key in competitions like:
- SMOPS (Singapore Mathsematical Olympiad for Primary Schools)
- NMOS (National Mathsematical Olympiad of Singapore)
RIPMWC (Raffles Institution Primary Mathsematics World Contest)
Our lessons are designed to be engaging and thought-provoking. We use:
- Inquiry-based learning
- Rich, open-ended tasks
- Emphasis on the “why” behind Maths, not just the “how”
Visual models and multiple problem-solving strategies
Even high-achieving students may feel unchallenged in class. High Ability Maths programme keeps them engaged by offering appropriate challenges, fostering deeper thinking, and building resilience when faced with complex problems.
The Onboarding Process
We offer a consultation to better understand your child’s situation, answer your questions, and recommend the best next step — whether it’s a trial class or joining a group. This helps us understand your child’s needs and gives you a chance to experience our teaching approach.
We’ll share our assessment of your child’s strengths, weaknesses, and recommended next steps. If you decide to enrol, we’ll assign your child to a suitable class and send you the registration details.
Not a formal test — but during the trial class and first few lessons, we carefully observe your child’s work to gauge their understanding. This helps us tailor support to their needs
After the trial, we’ll provide you with an enrolment form and payment instructions. Once that’s completed, your child’s place in the class will be confirmed.
Our Programs & Philosophy
For Primary Maths, we provide parents with regular qualitative updates on their child’s learning and behaviour. These updates are shared either face-to-face or via WhatsApp, allowing us to keep communication open, timely, and personal.
For Secondary Maths, we measure progress using multiple metrics — including conceptual understanding, problem-solving, accuracy and errors, homework completion, and learning engagement. We compile these scores and share them with parents before every WA.
If your child is unable to attend a class, we offer a replacement session under the following conditions:
- For non-medical absences, please inform us at least 24 hours in advance.
- For medical absences, a valid medical certificate (MC) is required.
This helps us plan class sizes and ensure every student receives the attention they need. Replacement classes are subject to availability and should be attended within two weeks wherever possible.

Communication & Support
We use WhatsApp to communicate with parents about both academic matters — such as your child’s progress and learning behaviour — and administrative updates like class schedules, fees, and important reminders. It’s our primary channel to ensure clear, timely, and personal communication.
Yes, absolutely. If you’d like to discuss your child’s progress or raise any concerns, you can request a call or meeting with their tutor, and we’ll be happy to arrange it. We believe that partnership and open communication with parents is essential to supporting each student’s success.
